About Bert

Bert is a partner in our Birmingham office, primarily representing financial institutions in the areas of lender liability litigation and loan workouts, with a particular interest in participation and hospitality loans. He also represents financial institutions and other clients in areas of real estate litigation, general commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and appellate representation. Bert has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers, and has maintained an AV-Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, as well as a rating of AV-Preeminent by the judiciary of Alabama in Martindale-Hubbell’s Judicial Edition.
